The first results on the use of artificial intelligence in the GEMA model will be presented in the form of an oral communication at the International Liver Congress (ILC 2024), which will take place in Milan on 5-8 June 2024.
The final results of the validation of GEMA in Spain will be presented on 4 May 2024 at the International Liver Transplant Society (ILTS) meeting in Houston, USA.
On 26 April 2024, in Madrid, representatives of the 26 liver transplant units in Spain, together with a representative of the National Transplant Organisation, will meet to standardise the system of prioritisation of the transplant waiting list in the country.
